But I felt like LCB gave ME the tools to problem solve, think outside the box, and create positive outcomes. I wish I had more time to continue my work at Salem Woods but I am grateful for the knowledge, experience, and friends I gained. I have been employed here since prior to the doors opening. My parents have been in assisted/independent living for several months and they and our family are super pleased. The onboarding was extremely smooth, there's activities everyday for residents, meals are delicious and the residence itself is gorgeous. We researched for a year before making the decision and are glad we went with Salem Woods. The respite care was perfect and we had a really good experience with The Residence at Salem Woods. It was a brand new facility, when my father went here they hadn't even been open a year. It was very beautiful.They had amazing staff members and my father loved it, he also had made a lot of friends.

I will be needing an independent living facility when I retire and I love NH. Jeff, the head of food design and creation was my tour guide. I want my food to have flavor even when I am too old to know what I want. Jeff not only gave me a great tour, but spoke to me about all the choices the residences get with food. Anytime dining is such a plus for independent seniors. We can enjoy our meals on our schedule and preferences not the facilities.

I visited this facility Everything looked pretty good at Senior Star at Weber Place. When you go to dinner, they have only one entree, which is not good, but the food is good. They have very nice rooms, and the staff was great.
My father loved the food here, he also liked that they did open feeding, so you could eat at anytime during the day, there was no schedule. We chose The Residence at Salem Woods because we needed a facility with skilled nursing as well as assisted living, there are only a few facilities that do that. I also had to get him out of rehab fast and they were able to take him quickly. We did a virtual tour and an in person tour and it was a beautiful, smaller facility that is quiet. It is also brand new and I really loved the sales woman I talked to, . She was transparent and answered all of my questions thoroughly.
Health
There was nothing that I didn't like, and I thought all of them would have been a good place for my dad. It was just a matter of his personal preferences. And he just liked the layout of the rooms better at another place.

The nursing home has a 5-star quality rating, the highest possible, and is in the top 20% of facilities in terms of residents with a catheter inserted and left in their bladder.

It's a little fancier, nicer, and more upscale, but the other one was more homey and felt more like a family. I didn't think it was a proper fit for my father-in-law, but it was beautiful. This is a place you should definitely look at and speak to them about the services they offer. This is something to truly think about for your loved one.
I visited this facility We liked The Residence at Salem Woods a lot. We might go there down the road, if dad feels like he can't live at home anymore. It just wasn't as big as I'd hoped, but we still liked it. They provided food to us, and it was great. She walked us around and told us all about the place.
